Only Boys

If it weren't for Jeff, my boys would never do things like this. But, thankfully for Jeff my boys can be boys. I am not sure what sparked this thought, but Jeff put Jonah up in one of the trees in our back yard for bow practice. Maybe this is all spurred from the hunting trip Jeff just came back from yesterday.

Yes, he is really that high!

You can only imagine that Jonah ate it up! Oh, and guess who wanted to do it next? Ugh! Jeff let Jadon do it, but I couldn't watch. There are no photos of him.

Jeff has got some video footage of this bow practice as well as from Jonah's last football game today. I am sure you'll all be seeing those soon.

Jared and Nikki's Wedding

Hello everyone!
Jeff's baby brother , Jared got married last weekend in Kentucky to his beautiful bride Nikki.
Here are some photos of the wedding.

These pictures are from the rehearsal dinner at "The Brass Lantern"

The boys spending some time with their Grans at the hotel the night before the wedding.

This was taken before the wedding under a beautiful tree at the entrance to the Kenlake Resort which was where the wedding was at.

Grans performed the wedding and Jeff was asked to read scripture and pray.

The weather was absolutely gorgeous that day!

The KISS!

We took advantage and got some good family photos on this beautiful day.

The boys stood in line at the throwing of the garter. Guess who caught it?
That's right. Jonah didn't know what it was when he caught it. His remark was, "What is this? is it underwear?" He had no idea what Jared had pulled off out from under Nikki's dress.
He was relieved to know that it wasn't underwear!

No Play of the Day?

Hey all!

Well, I have some bad news. Jeff was not able to get enough football video for a "play of the day" from last Saturday's game. And Jeff said this was the BEST game by far. Jonah was cooking and made 3 touch downs. I missed it all too. I ran my first ever 5K with a group of friends and didn't make it in time to see the game. But, let me tell you the reason why Jeff missed getting the video footage.

It was because Mac Powell from Third Day was at Jonah's game and he carried a conversation with Jeff the entire time. SO, of course Jeff was going to put down the camera for that!
Nationally known evangelist David Nasser is a member of our church and his son is Jonah's age and they play ball together. Well, David and Mac are best friends and he was in town visiting and Mac went to the game with Nasser. They sat by Jeff and he was so thilled to get to talk to Mac the whole time. Mac played with Jadon and even pushed him on the swings at the game.

Jeff couldn't wait to get home and show Jadon Mac singing on video so he would understand who was playing with him!

I hope to get some pics and video of the boys up again soon!

Old Baker Farm

Hey all!
Today was Jadon's first field trip and we went to this really neat farm called The Old Baker Farm. It was an incredibly beautiful day. The temp was in the 60's and there was not a cloud in the sky. Perfect day for a field trip! I took MANY pictures and thought that I would share some of them so you could experience the day with us.

The first place they got to go was to the cotton patch. They got to help pick cotton as well as put some in their pocket!

Be still my heart
Here the kids got to pet the farm animals.
This is lunch with Jadon's friend Braxton.

More animal petting.

Precious one.

Here is a pic of the whole class together.

Jadon and his class mate Cooper
This is a Hay Maze that the kids got to run through for awhile.
Jadon kept calling it the Haze.

We had a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch.

Jadon and his friend Cambell on the hay ride.

Here is Jadon out in the pumpkin patch.

Jadon got to pick his very own pumpkin and take it home.

We had such a blast today! I enjoyed every minute of it...except for the sneezing.
I think I sneezed at least 50 times while we were there due to all the animals.
But it was such a good day.
Love to all,
B

Plays of the Day-Week 5
